Well, the lesson is to never ever underestimate the power of Pakistan Cricket Team. When their captain is Misbah Ul Haq, who is a genuine fighter well you cannot underestimate Misbah Ul Haq men at all.
Don’t forget this is the same side who has beaten Australia in the last series quite easily.
When Pakistan Cricket Team was bundled out for 142 runs in the first inning of the First Day/Night Test, Brett Lee was hit by talks that the match will be over in a span of three days but he was sure that Pakistan will come with something really surprising in the 2nd inning.

When asked about the performance of Pakistan Cricket Team in the first test and what Lee has learned from it, Brett Lee answer was,
The answer was “plenty” but my first reaction was to say we should never take anything for granted about a cricket team, especially one that represents the hopes and dreams of their nation and one that won the last series against Australia quite convincingly. Source (sportsta.com)
Pakistan fought back out of nowhere got the Aussies with a surprise in the 2nd inning of the first test. Pakistan team whittled down the runs to such an extent that the Australian side seemed hopeless in front of Asad Shafiq and the lower order batsmen.
Self-belief, Confidence and determination that defines a Pakistan Cricket Team.
Pakistan assistant coach, the former Australia wicket keeper, Steve Stumper Rixon has played a key role as he must have guided the Pakistani player to fight back in the match and Brett Lee also admired the brilliant performance of Pakistani Players.
